will you take this deal?
It's pure conjecture.  What's not to like about it from Portlands view?  
Oh yeah that buyout $$$ that no one has details on.

X3 do you like this if the bucks are not ridiculous?
I don't suppose SAR would sign a one or two year deal.  That would mean he really is interested in a title.  Can't have that from an NBA player.  

Loser SAR.  Go play with Ray Allen.

Better yet, would you trade SAR for Ian Mahimni since he was selected in the first round by San Antonio becuase they thought this kid was going to be a future all star...come on make the trade.  sounds good, huh?  Reality would think we were robbing you blind not becuase we gave you a rookie for SAR - but because we didnt trade a second round draft pick this year (since the Spurs didnt have a second round pick).

When Portland asks about Ian Mahimnis contract just make everything up.

If they want to see the contract for assurances tell them "everyone" knows about his contract and how stoopid it is of them to ask.  

Surely the Blazers think of Randy as "everyone" also.

If they ask how good Ian is, tell them no scout could ever reveal how good any player will be, ever.  Parker, GNob, the Center for '05-'6 etc were pure lucky guesses by the Spurs.

We are asking for a #1 pick (the Clippers in 2006 that NJ has), or Mile Ilic the Nets second round pick this year.  I know nothing of Scola's buyout, so if the buyout could be done, then yes I would do the deal.  I watched Scola play some Euro League games, and he is a quality player.  As a back up to Zach he would be excellent.  He would definitely push Zach for playing time.

I would be willing to wait a year to get him as well, maybe 2 years. He is 25 now so get him from 27-31, that would be great.

SAR to the Nets in return for the Nets sending a lottery protected 2006 first-round pick to the Blazers.

No interest in getting a title.
