Phil Jackson reviews Bibby's dance...

Bibby made those two late three-pointers for the Kings, then memorably shimmied across the Staples Center floor.

These things tend to gnaw at the Lakers.

"He hit a couple shots down the stretch that were big," Jackson said, "and then acted out on court like an…."

While ignoring Shaq's Gorilla stalk for the moment, why does Phil allow such things to gnaw at him? That Bibby was actually showing up the fans sitting behind the Kings' bench who mocked him earlier in the game for airballing a three pointer is also besides the point, but appropriate to mention, as Mike definitely had the last mock in that particular game.

The thing is, Bibby is doing that silly dance in every game where he hits a late three pointer, not just the Lakers, so stuff the review where the sun don't shine, PJ.

But maybe Mike and Shaq can do a Gorilla/shimmy dance together in front of Phil the next time the Kings and Lakers meet. Then he can vote on who is the bigger {EXPLETIVE}

LOL!

Somethings never change.  When the Kings do things like that there is a good reason for it.  When the Lakers do things like that is because of arrogance or something negative.  Funny, I've NEVER seen Bibby, or any King for that matter, have the last "mock" in a playoff series, probably never will.  Niether has PJ, that's probably why it's an issue with him.

We all know that Shaq acts like an idiot -- it is well documented with the way he throws down a dunk and stares into the camera (while the other team is trying a fastbreak down the court).  We also know how you feel about the antics of PJ, Fox and the rest of the Lakers squad -- however, it never ceases to amaze me that when the Kings make comments, it's confidence -- but with the Lakers, it's arrogance.  Well, at least some things in this universe are forever constant.

You know, JoMal, you only mention two excuses, I mean reasons, why Bibby did this -- I'm sure you could have come up with several more to justify his behavior.

1.  He was trying to keep his shorts from riding up.

2.  He was trying to get PJ to look at his butt.

3.  He was simply doing the same stroll that he does when he is wearing pumps and a dress.

4.  He was showing everyone the moves that he learned at the Mark Madsen school of dance.

5.  He was simply imagining what it would be like to knock down a shot when it really counted.  And this is what is truly known as Fantasy Basketball.

Gee, guys, how sensitive you are to a little showmanship.

It wasn't 'arrogance' or confidence that made Bibby do his dance (well, maybe a little). What it is, is he has been doing this shimmy dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!.

That means that the Lakers just think that we care more about beating them then we do any other team, so somehow Mike's dance suddenly became "unique' unto Laker arrogance/Kings' confidence, which is nonsense.

Why? Because Mike does this dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!

If you are looking for a good reason for it, let's just throw out a wild supposition and theorize that the Lakers actuall play in the NBA, and Mike Bibby, for some exhuberant reason, has decided to do a little shimmy dance after hitting a big three point shot late in any game in which the Kings play.

Why? Because Mike does this dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!

Not those coached by Phil Jackson, or are played in front of disappointed Laker fans at Staple Arena, but also AGAINST ALL TEAMS that play in the League.

That Phil is suddenly shy and demur and sensitive to it might speak volumes about his own imagined place in the world, but Mike does really see him or the Lakers that way. He just dances his admittedly silly dance AGAINST ALL TEAMS!

Sorry Phil. You and the Lakers are nothing special when it comes to attracting the silly antics of opposing NBA players. Just another mocked victim of it.

The better question is why do you sac-town fans get in a hissy fit everytime he makes a comment like this?

Its not that serious.  Jackson makes comments exactly for this reason.  The only other thing that gets northern californias blood boiling more than Phil Jackson is when the family dog knocks over the moonshine brewin-in-da-back.

Bibby is entitled to do anything he wants after nailing big shots.  As long as it isnt yelling in other players faces.  If the guy wants to do the hustle at half court he can.
