Will any other organization give Olowokandi a shot

It's pretty obvious that the TWolves are about the call their "Candyman" experiment a complete failure.  Is there another team in the NBA who would consider taking on the Candyman as a project?  Remember, there's always another sucker out there right (see the Spurs, then the Lakers with Samaki Walker) -- is there a team that would give him a shot?

Do you really think that a seven year player in the NBA should still be considered a "project"?

There are less skilled big men in the League then Olowokandi. But just because someone is seven feet tall and has some understanding of what to do with a basketball does not mean he actually likes the game. Olowokandi just strikes me as a guy who took an opportunity to earn big bucks because of his size, but has never really fell in love with the game itself.

I agree with you, JoMal -- but unfortunately, we have seen "project" players go far past seven years.  How many years did it take for Dallas to give up on Samaki, only to turn around and have SA sign him because of the "promise" he showed -- then PJ thought he could do what Dallas and SA couldn't -- then someone else picked him up before he dropped off the face of the earth!

People (GM's and organizations) do pretty stupid things for big men with size and potential (see Brand for Curry/Chandler, etc.) -- just really curious to see if the TWolves can dump Candy for anything (pack of chewing gum -- okay, used chewing gum taken from under an arena chair).
