They were both on each other like flys on you know what....but if the reciever "moved" him he would have had to slow down since he we a step ahead of the defender.  That still doesn't take away from the fact that the defender pulled down the shoulder on his lead arm that would have led to a touchdown.  Only reason he missed the TD was because his shoulder was pulled down and kept him from full extending out to the ball in time.
