Bush promised 2.6 million jobs!  Now he's backing off on that remark, saying that was a "forcasted goal" or whatever.  I wouldn't put much stock in it.

The White House on Thursday struggled anew to contain the fallout over an overly optimistic forecast that 2.6 million jobs will be created this year and some Republicans expressed concern about the damage being done to President Bush.

"It was a theoretical discussion by an economist," he told NBC's "Today" show.

White House spokesman Scott McClellan called it "a snapshot in time by economic forecasters."

All Bush has to do is start another war....then he can create more military jobs.

Now maybe everyone understands why 4 years ago I said "Vote for Bush...get him the hell out of Texas!"

Maybe Bush can officially declare illegal aliens "terrorists".  That way he can kill two birds with one corporate-stone?  More jobs for americans whiping out illegals, even more jobs for americans when all the illegals are whiped out.

It's a win-corporate-win situation!
