Hard to get a read on a guy who's been with five teams in four years. I'm all for taking chances on young guys, but I'd be more inclined to take a shot on a guy like Rashad McCants for a year over Wafer.

Portland may be waiting to see what happens with Turkoglu before softening on adding Outlaw.

I would rather loose Miller in a sign and trade if I could add a player like Millsap or Boozer.

Unless they get rid of Sam somehow, I don't see them even sniffing another significant big man. Their money's better spent on a stopgap PG (Blake, Anthony Carter, Ronnie Price) and a two who can either defend or shoot(Dahntay Jones, Keith Bogans, Anthony Parker).

Top ten if we re-drafted Thad's class today:

1.  Oden - still early enough that most people would be afraid to pass on a possible franchise center, but he could slip fast with any more injuries.
2.  Durant - again on potential.  All he really does is score, but he will likely do it at a prolific level going forward.  Should move to SF.
3.  Thad - given his age he could challenge Oden and Durant down the road, his ceiling is that high.
4.  Horford - double-double machine, would be better at PF.
5.  Rudy Fernandez - looks like a real player so far, could move up the list.
6.  Thornton - Thad-lite and older.
7.  Jeff Green - still looks like he will be a do it all player, especially once he is surrounded by more talent.  Super glue guy with some offensive talent.
8.  Marc Gasol - looks like a future double-double center who blocks shots and shoots well, plus a good passer.
9.  Spencer Hawes - even with Brad Miller back he is putting up good numbers offensively, rebounding and blocking shots.
10.  Ramon Sessions - has started to show that last year's end of season stats were not a fluke, Ridnour still starting unexplainably.
Honorable mention -  Any of the guys who have shown some flash and potential, but no consistency yet - Stuckey, Nick Young, Wilson Chandler, Brandan Wright and Noah.

I think if Fernandez and Gasol crack the top-10, Chandler would make it in there as well.

It wasn't clear his right foot moved toward home first, so IMO it wasn't a balk. Plus, Pe?a left too early. If he leaves a half second later, Hamels would've been going toward the plate.

I want to say sweep, but four is good. And I think Sabathia gets knocked around a little in Game 2.

I'm in if there's still room.

I've been wondering where the TE went in this offense for the past few years. It was so key when they were going up and down the field not too long ago. And I don't even know why they try Akers from 50 anymore.

Weis' 9-yr old draft rights, that is. And I think "inconsequential" sums it up pretty well.

Warriors now "investigating" what really happened to cause the injury.

I coule be wrong, but I get the feeling that's how Miller's always been. Hard to take issue with when he's only missed a handful of games due to injury in his entire career, and he's coming off one of his best seasons.

Honestly, Iggy's just not cool. We could just refer to him as "Iguodala" and be done with it.

14
Yeah, I always chuckle when I see people refer to him as that.

Can't say I'm as excited as some others. He's played a total of 28 games the past two years. I still definitely think they need another big man on this roster.
