some of your bigoted comments have shown me that you're a notch below the rest in "experience".

I find this funny -- you reference me as a bigot but it was you who stated that white middle age basketball fans need white basketball players to root for -- and when I stated that isn't true, you told me I was wrong because I live in my nice picket fence world.  You even stated that you can buy NBA jerseys of white "hustle" players but you couldn't buy NBA jerseys of black hustle players -- then I gave you a list of players who BROKE that rule and you promptly ignored it.

Point in case -- Pig Miller -- he was a HUGE Laker favorite -- much like Luke Walton is today, like Madsen was before him.  I still remember Laker fans chanting Pig's name.

I don't have a problem with you stating that I'm shelter -- and I definately see things through different glasses than you do, I personally don't think that's a bad thing.  However, I find it interesting that you are judging my "experience" based on your "experience" -- hmm, is that bigotry?

Ah yes. The filibuster. One of my favorite tactics.

Seriously though. I start to get worried when WoW says he might possibly gain respect for me one day.

My opinion of you is based on your comments on this board.

While your spin doctoring is funny at times it does NOT apply to my commnets about white players in the NBA.  You like to ignore HUGE portions of an argument when it doesn't suit your purpose.  The WHITE debate in the NBA is backed up by ACTUAL marketing studies done by the NBA and companies like Nike/Reebook/Addidas, the results of those studies were reported by HBO for their special that featured Fisher/Madsen/Kerr and they spoke about the actual MARKET study results and their OWN personal experiences in the league regarding white players and their appeal to fans.

Your white picket fence world is not the way the rest of the world actually operates, not based on MY experience or MY opinion but by demographic studies and market research done by companies who make it their buisness to know where to target their products.  To ignore this HUGE industry and the notion of actual market studies is just sticking your head in the sand of your white picket playground.  The CREAM of the marketing crop is WHITE MALE between the ages of 18-45, they are the most sought after market segment in all of the buisness world.  It should be obvious why and it's become obvious from market reasearch who they identify with and what type of products to send their way.

You're just living in fairy tale land if you think the majority of people in this county can look past skin color and if you don't understand marketing 101 there is really not much we can talk about.

Darn!  You just stepped on and smashed the growing little flower that was "Ted Respect".  You'll have to throw some cow poo on it to help it grow again.
