To our Missouri friends...
« on: May 23, 2011, 11:11:03 AM »
Hope that you all  (y'all for those who speak Texan) came through the storms with yourselves, friends and family intact.  My prayers are with those who have suffered.

It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

And if you midwesterners were thinking of having a contractor install a storm cellar but putting it off like my friends 200 miles from Joplin have been postponing since 2006......

please just do it!

+1.  Hope everyone is safe.  North Minneapolis got hit by a tornado and I biked by some of the affected area tonight.   It was really unnerving to see all the damage and realize that Missouri was hit far, far harder.

. . . not my area of the state, but thanks for the thoughts LFD.  My wife works for Regional Bank (Commerce Bank) and she said one was utterly destroyed (only the vault stands) and the other doesn't have a roof.  It hit pretty hard is what I'm hearing.

Yikes Skander! I don't know which would be worse, earthquakes or tornadoes, never been in a twister but more than my share of quakes, 1971 Sylmar was the scariest
