Brown made some good adjustments last night but the Nets out played em.  I just checked the box score.  Didn't get to catch the whole game but they (The Nets) looked like they were able to play their style of basketball the whole night from the highlights.

The point is in calling, inferring that Dougie is an "Anybody" with subpar coaching skills you would think 4-0 or 4-1 Pistons would happen.

Ok so it could still be 4-2 Pistons.  Could also not be.  The next week we will know.

Timingwise perhaps Brown feels he cannot currently apologize to Dougie.  Instead he has gone with the taken out of context card.  Which i know the media lives for but in this case there seems to be no mistaken context at all.  Appears instead it certainly was a diss.  Stop already with the overespect for Byron Scott.  I agree how can you can a guy who coached in the title game two years straight, once for the Nets and once for the Lakers.  On the otherhand this year the Nets team was sucking and all indications were Juana Kidd did not want him as coach, and we know she makes decisions for the Nets.  Is Scott to blame for the idiotic Zo Mourning and Deke moves?  I hope he had zero to do with either one.  The results since Scott was let go are hard to argue with tho, and if Dougie does manage to pull this series out then all "Scott was wronged" talk will really weaken.

Dont get me wrong, the coaching turnover is sickening in the EC.  Just dont diss Dougie for it.  He was an assistant for how many years?

Okay admittedly i dont follow the Leastern Conf nearly as much, altho tonight i did watch the 1st half of Indy-Miami Game 4.  Van Gundy has them competing for sure.

The Pistons had held an NBA record 5 straight opponents under 70 points in each game.  With

Detroit was up 88-69 with 26 seconds left.  They were going to run out the clock, but NJ didn't want to become a footnote in NBA history by being the 6th straight team.  (All scrubs were in the game at this time).  They intentionally fouled James to put him on the line with 13 seconds left so they could get the ball back.  with 4 seconds left Hubert Davis missed a jumper, but Aaron Williams got a tip in to make the score a "respectable" 89-71.

The Nets celebrated wildly.  This was a game where the Nets had their entire lineup intact.  In their own building.  And their biggest competitive response was to prevent being humiliated.

I think it has more to do with people wanting a different team from the east get a crack at playing one of the top teams from the west in the finals.  The Nets are kinda like the Buffalo Bills of basketball.

Good team and they do get it done but they cannot beat the other confrence.
