Good luck in Jersey, Anthony.  You're gonna need it.

I am just as surprised the Jazz are moving AK as I am that Anthony would want to goto NJ.  I honestly think Chicago or New York are the best spots for him just based on players on those squads.

Wanted Phil J and LebronBosh.

The first time I heard of the trade I don't remember Devin Harris being mentioned.  So that leads me to believe that Melo wants to goto a team where the starting point guard is going to be Jordan Flippin Farmar??  Excuse me while I die laughing.  How do you go from Billups to Farmar and assume your going to have the same success?

If Anthony goes there, I think it's a .500 team *at best*.

You've really only got two "keepers" on the roster - Anthony, Lopez - and the rest is filler.

I don't think the trade happens, because I can't see Anthony wanting to get into that situation.

I agree it's just ESPN_National Enquirer doing what they do.
Unless a deal is already in the works to add on star(s) next season.  Like say Tony Parker if he runs his contract out this season with the PopoSpurs.

I don't believe Anthony has a 'no-trade' clause in his contract though.

If Denver is going to be left with nothing next summer anyways getting a player like AK-47 who can help improve their defense is much better than nothing.  I don't see what else is out there other than Joakim Noah from Chicago.

Carmelo holds something as good as a "no-trade" clause - the fact that unless he signs an extension, he's a free agent at the end of the year.  No one will trade for him unless he is willing to extend with them as part of the trade.

Looks like the New Jersey deal is dead.  GOOD RIDDANCE.  The last thing Utah needs to do is trade Kirilenko for Diaw.  That is just plain stupid.

Utah is starting to tick me off with it's "cost-cutting" moves:  Maynor to OKC for nothing, Brewer to Memphis for less than nothing, lowballing Fesenko and letting him go unrestricted next year, etc.

"I never asked for a trade" -Marshmello Anthony.

Believable scale?

I'd argue that AK's offensive game is close enough to Diaw where it doesn't even make sense to go after him if your looking for offense at that position.  Why not just run more plays for AK?  Granted Diaw has a better jumper but he is not exactly a big time scorer night in and night out.  When it comes to defense, well, it is not even close.  Can only be a cost cutting measure.  I don't see it as anything else.  Larry Miller is looking down from above PISSED at what is going on I think.

I want to see Melo, Rose, Boozer personally.  I hope that happens.  Chicago is a team I keep track of because I like Derrick Rose and we get WGN with our cable company so I get all their games for the most part.
