No one owes you an apology, nor will one be forthcoming, nor does anyone owe you an explanation regarding the boards gentleman's agreement regarding foul language, I've repeatedly called out ALL individuals regarding that agreement, WOW included. The fact that I haven't called him out everytime is irrelevent, similar to my not calling you out every time for posting pictures of half naked women, or all the other stupid, baiting, hatefilled ridiculous tripe you post ON A REGULAR BASIS. The difference between you and WOW is, you claim to live by a different standard, I see no evidence of it. You always manage to dig up in your vast archives of this board that your world revolves around quotes from other posters to serve your ends and than forget to do so when a little research would prove the lie you lay down to discredit others. Your claim to offer warning when you are going to post inappropriate pics with a disclaimer is disingenuous at best, hypocritical at worst, this thread started with comical pics of playoffs teams on vacation, pics that were in line with the subject of basketball and in no way offensive. Then, in the middle of the thread, after you drew everyone into your web, you post not just pics of Miss California, but other half naked women, one with her legs spread in a very suggestive way, it is irrelevant whether she had pants on or not, the suggestiveness was clear.

I find it very telling that you seem to be the only one who insists these pics are appropriate, I thought you claimed to have moral standards? Why is WOW, of all people, asking you to stop and you are telling him to take a hike? No offense WOW, it is part of a larger point, I am sure you are the epitome of moral compunction, your potty mouth notwithstanding.

I've slipped into posting the way I LIKE to post, but I back off because I know it bothers Dan.  It's not worth driving off posters just to make me 100% "happy" to be the pig I like to be so I'm only 80% happy and IMO that's a fair trade off because the b-ball discussion benefit on this board far out weighs my joy of cursing.

Personally I have no problem with the pictures from a "moral" point of view.  Rick is right in that you can find the same type of scantily clad "dancers/cheerleaders" on the nba.com site.  And if I really wanted to see those type of pictures I know of a few other sites that are much more "entertaining".

However, I don't come here to look at pictures.  Not even the basketball related gone fishin ones.  When TNT first started the gone fishin photshopping it was new and interesting.  Now it is just old.  Generally when I come across a non-basketball photo (and I mean non-GAME related) I either skip that post or just ignore the whole thread.

Mostly I post here from work and am interested in the basketball discussion...one that I liken to sitting in a sports bar with some good buddies discussing bball over a few beers.  I find the swearing "ban" a little difficult to observe...especially when I get passionate about the topic but I try to proofread and eliminate such language.  And I do that out of respect for the group I am with.  The gentleman's agreement.

Now I will leave it up to Reality to twist this post into supporting his point of view.

What is bugging me right now is that I have allowed myself to be drawn into a direct confrontation with this mental midget, something I had forsworn years ago, but it has just gotten so ridiculous.

Problem is, he continues to cherry pick and never answer a direct question, at least not the pertinent ones or the ones he knows full well he can't answer, it is like arguing with a 3 year old.
