We have a lead after one quarter! Woo!

Refs calling this game very ticky tack but only one team is taking advantage of it.  And it's not us.

I feel like I'm talking to myself.

Let's come out strong here.  Dalembert needs to stay out of foul trouble.

Sixers look to be in good shape at the half.  Iguodala and Young are better than Turk and Lewis.  Don't think Howard can keep it up, Sixers could be a little smarter defending him. Whoever is out there has to stay in front of Lee.

No scoring from Speights, Green is 1 for 5 and we've missed half our free throws and are down only 4.

Sixers can pick it up a notch and are just sort of bidding their time, I think.

Sixers come out totally flat in the 3rd quarter.  This should come as a surprise to absolutely nobody.

This is painful to watch.  Andre Miller is absofuckinglutely killing us on both ends of the floor.  And why has Thad gotten like one decent offensive touch the entire quarter?  He got an and-1.  Go to him!

Anyone who thinks Iguodala isn't a 1 after this performance, just doesn't understand the game.  Balls of Stone!  That last-second shot is becoming an Iguodala trade mark.

It was a good win, but by no means definitive.  Orlando is still very dangerous and will come out harder in the 2nd game.  The Sixers have to find a way to fix their performance in the 3rd quarter.  I thought that they should have gone with Speights and was surprised that they didn't.

Excellent game by Williams too. Thank heavens and Ed Stefanski that he picked up Donyel Marshall.  Those 3 balls were critical and big momentum changers.  I don't think Orlando expected Phila. to be so tough, but they know now.

Balls of Stone!

I've heard of hands of stone, big balls and ice in your veins... but never B.O.S.

Maybe that it Iguodala's new name, the B.O.S.

Easily the biggest shot of Iguodala's career since it decided a post season game.  He did a nice job of picking the game apart tonight, and I think that game winner has his confidence extremely high right now.  Suffice it to say, he has a more favorable matchup with Turkoglu than he did last year against Prince.

B.O.S also made a few critical turnovers and missed two FTs inside of a minute.  I'm not going to say he's a bona fide #1 down the stretch, but he's clearly one of the best in the league on the final possession, and I'd rather see nobody with it more than him.

Andre Miller gets eaten alive by picks.  He's simply not quick enough.  He was really exposed at times.

Marshall...Marshall!

Lou is the X-Factor.  If he can keep this up, the Sixers suddenly become very, very dangerous.

I also want to see more Speights.  Not like Ratliff guarded Superman with any kind of effect.

I think the big point is that the Sixers let Dwight Howard have his way, and basically let him score at will, figuring it wouldn't be enough.  Now that this has turned out to be correct, we have a series, since the Sixers have a workable strategy.

Orlando won't dare to go to Howard at the end, because they know the Sixers will foul.

Young was held to 30 min. probably he's still a little out of shape, but that will change as the series continues.  As good as B.O.S. is, Thad is ahead of him at this age, and I'm not sure he's that far away from Andre now.

It's good the teams are off until Wednesday, the Sixers have a lot of work to do to improve their defense. Too much penetration by Lee.
