I'm from Philaphans, not RealGM.

Yeah, Ducky is always Ducky.  This place is a good haven for times like these when the nutjobs come out on RealGM and the casual fans flood PhilaPhans.

I for one feel like I have no clue who the Sixers will take tonight.  Last year I both thought and hoped Speights would be the pick.  This year I can't imagine feeling nearly as happy as I was to get Speights last year, but I will be very happy if they pick up an early second rounder.  This is a role plyer draft, taht is where the strength of it is and an early second rounder should allow them to take BPA at 17.

Yeah, this place has been our little retreat since draft day last year when every single topic turned into an 'Iguodala can't shoot' thread.

FYI, DiLeo was just on DNL and flat out denied that we shopped Elton Brand.

Also said he didn't expect any player trades to happen tonight, but wouldn't be surprised if we traded up or down in the draft.

I'm never a fan of making knee jerk trades, but a lot of eastern conference teams are getting better by acquiring star caliber pieces for very little right now.  I really hope we're not being as quiet as we seem... teams are looking to re-structure and it seems like players are flat out on sale.

Sounds like the Suns are trying to acquire #7 and might be targeting Jennings. Could shake up the board a bit.

You'd think that they could aim lower and still get Jennings if you can believe what you read.
