Spurs Lakers

After Houstons disgraceful representation of the Mighty Midwest Division last night, what holds true for tonights Lakers @ Spurs matchup?

Altho revitalized, the Lakers will be on a back to back roadie.  Should help the Spurs, altho remember the Lakers are assistant coached by Greg Popavich so anything is possible.

Will Gooden make his cameo appearance, and should he?  Will lurker claim to be at the game?  Will Cemetovich allow the Spurs to score over 100 pts, which resulted in a win not only over the Lakers the last visit to SanAn, but actually the Spurs last 3-4 wins over RealContenders.

Gooden is the only person on this squad who I think could guard Odom effectively.  No one else is big/fast enough.  I think Odom's mismatch against teams like the Celtics and Spurs really help the Lakers a lot.  Even if he isn't pouring in the points.  Just the fact you have to pay attention to him makes things easier for the rest of the squad.  That's one reason why I felt the Gooden pick up was solid.  Dunno if W.O.W agrees with me since he liked the pick up as well.

I expect the Lakers to come out really flat.  They spent a lot of energy last night.  Especially Kobe.  If they get a W tonight I will be VERY VERY happy.  I honestly don't see it happening on a back to back against a quality squad like the Spurs.  The Lakers haven't exactly been 'awesome' over the last 2 weeks...
