We won.  Speights was first big off bench.  Evans was 3rd.

We barely won.  To a shitty team.  Speights had 3 rebounds in 16 1/2 minutes.  Lou saved the day and Iggy went cold for a stretch again, but had a huge rebound late.

Next 4 are winnable.

No one worries about the quality of a win. There's no asterik beside a team's record because it was comprised of crappier teams or lucky-shot wins.

There's nothing to get excited about either, except that they have another couple of games they should win, like tonight at OKC and next week against Toronto.  They are only a half game out of the 6th spot, and it is important for their playoff positioning to get these wins.

The real test will be Miami, since IMO they have improved with the addition of O'Neal.  He may have made the Heat better than the Sixers, but I think it's more a matter of how the Sixers play the game.

After that, the Sixers go on a long West Coast swing that takes them to the Lakers, the Suns, the Warriors, Kings and Blazers.  I'll concede the loss to the Lakers, but the rest of the games should be good contests even the games with Portland and Phoenix.

Point being that this is a big make or break month for the Sixers, if they win at or above expectations they move up into the 4th or 5th spot and have a good chance to make it to the 2nd round.

Speights didn't do a lot, but Ratliff had a good game.  Iggy is shooting at 50% from the floor, and Miller is playing good ball.  As long as Thad and Lou have good games, were a tough team to beat. I thought the Sixers were an above .500 team, but they haven't demonstrated that definitively.  They have 22 games left in the regular season to establish themselves as serious competition. So far, they've come up on the short end against their rivals and they need to improve their level of play.

Nope.  No asterisk. But quality of play is a better indicator of future success than straight won/loss.
