After Kobe pulls off the acrobatic shot on which Ruben Patterson fouled him by pushing him with the lower body (Kobe made the three pointer anyway), Ruben tells him that he "owes him his (Kobe's) sneakers for that (shot)" -- Kobe gives him the autographed sneakers after the game.

Its sad how that went from a real title to a joke everytime someone says it.  He hasnt stopped Kobe in years.

At least Ruben was being a good sport about it....when players hit shots like that you can do nothing but shake their hand and say 'Nice shot'
