Since Transformers has already hit the screen and was a major success I wonder how well Robotech would do today. If you take away the cheezy love story that was THE BEST amime I've ever seen. You had an awesome story line and the fact that major characters would get waxed durring the show was so cool and totally new to me. I think it would trump Star Blazers, the second and third installments of that show were not as good as the first but IMO the first season was the best of all the cartoon series ever. I wish I had the bucks to bring some of my favs back to life after seeing what a great job they've done with BSG.
