Nah - give them the independence they want - but TRUELY independent - none of the half assedness where they are independent but the 'other' gov't maintains their roads and moneys and such - after about a year of having to do everything for themselves they'd come back and do as they were told - you know - just like france
Exactly right- let the people of Quebec pay for everything themseleves, their own roads, sewers, police, jails, government officials.... Let them collect their own taxes, and have their own diplomats. But before they do, they can compensate the rest of Canada for the stuff the rest of the provences helped them pay for like government office buildings, roads and sewers! Once they see the bill, they'll forget all about being independent!
