Lessons you've learned this season
« on: November 19, 2008, 10:10:51 PM »
if your players are playing the thunder - it seems you should play them

Kaman or Chandler and Mobley or Durant and I went to the non clipper both times tonight - seems i made two mistakes

And mo williams is the oddest 'point guard' i've ever heard of

who wants shawn marion?

I want Shawn, what do you want in return?

I think as the year progresses he is going to get more and more minutes.  I actually expect to see him around 30 minutes a game.

You wont get a lot of points from him but he does get a number of steals and a number of rebounds each game.

Heard some local (CA) pundits who think he might replace vlad rad in the starting line up at some point...

now that would be awesome. But I can't complain, he's been my Shane Battier in the past few days. Solid all around ...and doesn't hurt you except FT%.

As for my lessons: you never know, a lot can happen.

Gave up on Brook Lopez ... and on the very next day he became starting C for the Nets and immediately a 12/10/3blk threat. Just bad timing.

I think my team is better now than it was to start the season - even if i did miss out on russell westbrook due to some misunderstood trades - even if marion does step up i think i strenghtened my teams balance with the trade i made.

Now if only everyone would get healthy

I probably should have dumped mobley earlier and maybe got a better replacement for his spot - but i'm still looking

Not going to happen.  One word: "spacing".

Ariza is not a shooter, with him in the starting lineup you might as well bench Bynum or Gasol cause teams will just pack it into the paint.  I will personally slap PJ in the face if he makes a stupid move like that...

Meh - I shouldn't have reversed the allen waiving probably but the move was made in response to the trade accidentally being made (and salmons is hurt now so there you go)...so i figured i'd still have a chance because he'd still be sitting there in a few days - my bad
