It's moving time!

I just wanted to let everyone who cared that I'm leaving Mid-Missouri for the Great White North ... yep, Minnesota!  :)

Got a job in Rochester with KAAL-TV.  I'm their newest weekend sports anchor and weekday sports reporter.

I should be up there in two and a half weeks.  jn, be ready to hit a Timberwolves game once the season starts!

On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

Hey congrats Wolverine!  We'll see you at Target Center.   I haven't really spent any time in Rochester but it's surrounded by some of the prettiest areas of the state and your not too far from the Twin Cities.

The prettiest part of Minnesota, however, is in Wisconsin :)

There's Door County (i never got clear if that was in wisconsin or not)
ANd something called the dells, but I could never take it seriously with that name

I have been there.  I have been to the Dells.  I have been to the Milwaukee Zoo.  I have travelled around Wisconsin.  The best part is east of Green Bay...somewhere in the middle of Lake Michigan.

Wisconsin is lovely.  It's the people who mar the beautiful landscape with their sausage bloated, stale beer reeking, green and gold jersey wearing existence.  8)

Minnesota does have a high proportion of 'ample' milk fed norwegian farm girl types in that state - too bad their sports teams as a whole are just kind of sad :)
