And after 2-3 seasons of lottery basketball how many tickets can they sell?

Charlotte was like this for the Hornets as well as New Orleans.

Charlotte was like this for the Hornets as well as New Orleans.

Charlotte was loyal to the Hornets for a really long time.  From the Larry Johnson/Mugesy Boges era to the Baron Davis era.  They were never 'great' teams but they were supported.  I don't think anyone expects a lottery team to be good within the first year or two.  To me it seems like the city is just happy to have another thing to do.

I guess anything that distracts you from the fact that you live in Oklahoma, even for a couple hours, will garner attention.
