On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

This whole thread just reminds me of how SUCKY the Spurs organization is.Yes the only term that truly describes the entire franchise is sucky.  Aside from a horrible coach they now have one of the worst front offices.  Its not like every team in the NBA has traded away or passed on a solid role player at least once or twice before....

Well that may be because you stop watching once Kobe is eliminated.  2007 the Spurs took the title and also did it with a role player, Fabs Oberto.  But really, RC Buford is still riding the wave of Manu and Tony Parker drafts.  Ever since then, nothing has impressed and the Scola and Splitter drafts turned out to be disasters.

2008 midseasaon getting Barrdog back from waivers and Kurt Thomas was great, but then you have that coach that you mention is horrible keeping both of them on the playoff bench.

Nope.  I watch basketball just like everyone else.  Though I do find it a little funny that you speak on not watching games Mr. Box Score.

Buford should still be riding the waves of Manu and Tony.....I think there is a large number of GMs in this league who would LOVE to be able to say they were able to draft players as good as Tony Parker and Manu Gnob.  Trading away the rights to one role player is hardly what you are making it out to be.  It would be nice for the Spurs to have Luis Scola but it's not an epic disaster that they do not.

Yes it was strickly Fabs that was the major difference maker for getting the title.  It really had nothing to do with Tim Duncan being Tim Duncan, Manu having a number of impressive games, and Tony Parker abusing the Cavs off the dribble.... ::)

I wish more often that when people didn't agree with your idiotic ideas/points you would just go away.

Your welcome.  Anytime I can make you go away it's a W for us all.

The day you "make" me do anything is the day i know for me, it's over.

Feel free to continue to act as if you have Clue 1 regarding RealSpurs.  ;)

Oh so I guess we don't make you talk about the Lakers constantly on this board.  That you do all on your own?  Guess the single white female jab sticks.

I must do a better job of acting like you do as it's been proven that you don't know RealSpurs...in fact they surely don't exist in San Diego.
