24 PPG for Iguodala? Wouldn't that make him in the upper ecehlon of scorers?
Brands a 20/10 career guy, so PF production is going to go up, if you also expect Iguodala to go up 4 PPG you'd be expected like a 10 PPG increase from the sixers, or who is giving up points?
I expect Thads PPG to go up as well
Yes, it would. Remember, Iggy has been playing out of his position his whole career. He now gets to be a shooting guard instead of a small forward. That means he will be bigger and stronger than most of his opponents now, rather than the other way around. I think the Sixers will use him and/or Brand as the primary scorers in the half-court, with ample looks for Young and Miller continuing to score much as he did last season.
The Sixers should get a +10 per game bump in points by exchanging Brand for Evans, by itself. Iggy should be putting up more points, on about the same number of shots. He shot .456 last season, being the only go-to scorer. This season he should get a lot more open looks and fewer contested shots. I expect both Young and Williams to increase their scoring this year as well.
If the team runs at the same pace as it did in the second half of last season, we should see the team scoring above 100 consistently, which is where most of the upper-echelon teams of last season were.
