Didn't we say Sloan should be COY?
« on: February 11, 2004, 12:38:23 PM »
If he kept Utah at .500 by the all-star break, especially after he lost Matt Harpring for the year? Well, he is at 26-26 after beating Portland last night and personally, I think he should be a slam-dunk choice for COY, this team is easily the biggest surprise of the year to me, Denver and Memphis notwithstanding. Even if it falls off a little after the break during the stretch run, he is doing what Joe Vancil always said he does and I have always scoffed at, getting an awful lot out of a very little. And he has the added distraction of his wife fighting cancer. What are your thoughts?

I'd say so.  Beldzik (sp) has also been very impressive but I'll stick with Sloan.
