I worry about the Warriors.  Not with Brand, but with Iguodala.  If they offer him a max contract, I worry.

So we get a 2nd rd pick in return.  It's Minnesota, so maybe that pick winds up being only a couple picks lower that the 1st rd pick we trade away.  Could be a near wash pick wise if true.

The 76ers will throw in reserve forward Calvin Booth, and acquired a future second round draft pick and Minnesota?s $2.8 million trade exception gained in a 2007 deal with Miami.

I think you meant to compare iggy and allen.

I'd take Allen over Iggy, and Brand is definitely not = garnett.  I see a huge disparity.

Furthermore, Boston's a well balanced team offensively (garnett at the top of the key, Ray Allen to stretch the defense, Pierce to drive).  The big 3 fit perfectly.  Iguodala and Brand as our top 2 doesn't even come close to comparing IMO.

I have seen no confirmation either way, but with this team making a splash, it's not absolutely crazy to think our own future picks will be low 1st rd.  In the weak East, we could easily wind up with a top 10 team (record wise) and thus be in the bottom third of the 1st rd.
