Or the knicks leaked it to Sports Illustrated to drum up some interest in zach randolph...or maybe donnie walsh isn't isiah thomas so he doesn't take the first offer...

Donnie Walsh should realize he got a very lucky offer, and there's no guarantee an equivalent one will be there in a week.

Seriously.  I totally agree. I'm surprised Donnie hasn't jumped on this deal... Knicks fans are incredulous.  They desperately want to dump Randolph for a bag of balls.... Now the offer is there, and Walsh is getting greedy.  If the Clips use their cap space elsewhere (Okafor or Josh Smith) and the Knicks squander this chance, there will be a riot up here...

It was a first offer and there's no guarantee it's done, newsday is reporting that walsh is trying to get the clips to include gordon, but it ain't over yet...might still happen

If they get the Clips to include Deandre Jordan, they should jump at the deal.  Even the Clips are not dumb enough to give up Gordon for Randolph, especially when they have Gordon on the cheap for several years.

They have Eric Gordon and DeAndre Jordan if I'm not mistaken.  Gordon was the 1st rounder, Jordan the 2nd rounder.

if i were walsh, i'd take the deal, basically with or without zach they won't be competitive for a few seasons. why not just do a salary dump and at least have a chance to be a player in the FA market next season.

Skates was switching them up (I was not sure intentionally or otherwise) and I have seen at least one other time when the names were mixed up.  Just clarifying.

Um...how did Skates switch them up?

He essentially said "the Knicks should try to get the Clips to include DeAndre Jordan, because they have no shot at getting them to include Eric Gordon".

He's talking about both.  He didn't switch anyone.

It was unclear to me because I've seen them mixed up in the past.  Let it go.

So, you were clarifying for yourself and letting us all know?

Thanks for the heads up

Actually you may be referring to tk who transformed Jamont Gordan into Jordan in the GDT yesterday.  Thank god no one is going to rhyme with Speights (except for my screen name), much less prononce it correctly.  No biggy Ducky, it's quite possible the Clips will confuse their own two guys and trade the wrong one anyway.

Yes, definitely to many Gordan's floating around recently- but there is only one Speights- but it will take a while to learn how to spell his first name.

Especially since you still continually screw up Gordon :)
