I'm monitoring DraftExpress :/
(the mysql server is pushing 900 queries/second while still maintaining sub 1% iowat and over 88% cpu idle, for those who care).

I don't know about everyone else here, but personally I'm pretty sure draft day is a perennial winner of the "most unproductive day at work" award.

The last 3 days I've been VERY unproductive.  I was even watching Ajinca videos in my office at one point :)

This is arguably the best night of the year from a sports perspective for me. The NFL has the SuperBowl, MLB has the best All-Star game, and the NBA has the best draft.

For whatever reason I will be dissapointed if we don't pick Speights.  Not that I have real reason for conviction, but somehow he seems like the rright fit as the future at PF.

I think Arthur can be another good piece on this team- especially when we go small- but I don't see him as our future starting PF.  I  guess that's what FA is for- but I will very dissapointed if we sign Jamison to anything longer than a 2 year deal.

Things that will get me pumped for next season:
1.  Brand or Smith signing
2.  Speights

Neutral:
1.  Arthur or Jordan
2. 1 year rental of a decent PF

Down:
1. Jamison 3 year deal.

For all I know, Beasley is the nicest guy in the world. I just find it funny that he has his sitdown with Screamin' A and tells him that he's a team player who gets his points in the flow of the game. Really??? I could have sworn that I saw him yapping at his teammates in two seperate games this season where his teammates didn't get him the ball.

Is that within the flow??

So what do we think about the rumors that the hawks won't match if the sixers offer smith 11+ milion per year?

Man, the Sonics have 6 picks in this draft. That's a bit insane...
