Wendy Nix is saying the Knicks are staying put at #6 and will be taking a PG. Westbrook, Augustin, or Bayless??? I say Westbrook.

LOL!!! I guess the crowd can hear the ESPN broadcast because as Wendy Nix reported that, the crowd started booing. Oh, I love the draft.

But how would you feel about this combo??

-Sign Josh Smith
-Draft Arthur

I'd be dancing on the ceiling like an 80's era Lionel (not the L train.)
Smith (like Young) is probably not our long term answer at PF, but adding another great young talent will give us enough pieces to build a contender down the road.  That many good young players should allow a good GM to make the moves needed to get to the top.

Arthur/Smith/Young are a bit redundant- but I'm fine with that if they all end up as good players.  They are all so young that at very least they can be traded for future top draft picks or vet players.

So what do we think about the rumors that the hawks won't match if the sixers offer smith 11+ milion per year?

Where did that rumor come from????

Don't remember the EXACT source, ,i read hoopshype rumor page every day
draft now
to answer TGP question - 2 minutes between pick

so the interesting part isn't until 3 - do the wolves select mayo, love, or trade?

I heard that too.... just don't remember where.  I also heard something about us offering a front loaded contract making it more difficult for Atlanta to match.

The ATL not going past 5/55 for Smith came from Bruissard's ESPN blog on 6/21.  Not news.  Definitely not confirmed.

Well, 1 down.... 59 to go. I think the draft begins now where it's possible that we could hear about a trade being worked out or could see a real shocker with Mayo going #2.

In any draft, the team with the first pick should have about 30 damn seconds, max...if you don't know by draft night what you are going to do - then you utterly stink and shouldn't be allowed to draft first.

WHY would the bulls take the whole two minutes, everyone knows what they are going to do :)
