Jazz beat Celtics and then lose to the friggin' Nets
« on: March 16, 2008, 12:23:12 AM »
I know it was a back to back, but it still ticks me off. All it took was a little D, and we could've won tonight. Inexplicably, AK47 plays matador defense on Richard Jefferson and gives up a two-footer for the win.

Anyway, the win by 18 points in Boston was SWEET! Deron is averaging 26/11/5 since the all star break, and he completely owned the Celtics. Nice to see what the Jazz can do when they play well; frustrating to see how average their defense can be the next night.

It is losses like that one, that keep the Jazz out of the top tier in the Western Conference.  Obviously, Boston is better than NJ.  The difference is that NJ is fighting to stay in the playoffs and are desperate for wins.

Considering the Sixers gave Kyle Korver to the Jazz, the least they could have done was help them by beating the Nets.

The put in a lot of work in that Celtics game. I am not really that surprised there was such a huge drop off come that second game.   The thing is this time of year certain teams get really scrappy.  The Nets and Sixers are two teams that come to mind that have to play that way to stay in the playoffs.
