Definitely has some freaky stuff.
Slurve?  Whatever it is it zigs diagonally in front of and accross the plate.  His fastball is nothing special but he locates it pretty sneakily.  Does the double hinge pause with the ball on top of his head just like Oh used to do.

Maddox was actually better in this game, altho scoreboard read 2-1 Bosox and in the end he says Dice was better.  Key juctures were 1st inning where Pads had Dice K completely on the ropes.  Walked the 1st three batters with a wild pitch to boot yet all Pads got was a run out of it.

5th inning with 2 on 1 out it sure looked like Maddox got a key stikeout of Youkillis.  Ump squeezed him, Maddox got ruffled and gave up two singles.  That was about it.  A Gonzales could have had a dramatic moment in bottom 9 but he wiffed at a low Paplebon offer.

See the Gyro Ball???  Jacoby hit against him in ST and he was impressed with the movement he had.  No report on the Gyro Ball though.

I love the one "The Pitch".  If that isn't the hokiest fricking thing ever I don't know what is.  The magic to being a major leaguer is to get some spastic knucklehead whipping up some side spinning super pitch.

Read some stuff from Marshall, and heard him a number of times on XM.  he has some strong opinions, and his opinions are at odds with a lot of people.  He does have a PHD in kiensiology though so he is a smart and experienced guy.
