Look at just statistics and Okur over Deron Williams makes sense.  Look at the overall picture and it doesn't make much sense at all.




I think Stern knows Deron Williams will be in the Sophomore-Rookie game anyway so he left him off.  Man the Sophomore's are just gonna KILL the rooks!

You know that is so hard to do from a true bball fan's perspective.  Let alone some hardcore bball fan's like the posters here.

One would think that the all-stars would be voted on in a similar way that MVPs are voted on...players who make their teams all that much better rather then on pure stats.

I agree with you 100% - there is no way that the loss to the Heat in the 2006 Finals can be pinned solely on Dirk - he did everything he could to get the Mavs a W.  His supporting cast failed him, pure and simple.  It's not fair to expect Dirk to pull down 40-20 every night, just because it's possible!
