Can you tell me where the following players are presently playing or what they accomplished in their NBA career:
Marcus Fizer - selected #4 by the Bulls even though they already had a Power Forward. After being a bust in Chicago. He had stints in Milwaukee, Cleveland, and New Orleans.
Jonathan Bender - selected #5 by the Pacers out of High School. Touted as the first 7 foot Shooting Guard! Injuries plagued his career which led to his retirement this past summer.
Trajan Langdon - Sharp Shooter out of Duke. Selected #11 by Cleveland. Lasted 3 seasons before he fell out of the NBA because of his inability to do anything but spot up shoot. Has found a nice career in Russia playing for CSKA Moscow and almost defeating the Sixers this past month.
Michael Olowokandi - Selected #1 by Clippers out of Pacific. Was very mediocre in LA before being below mediocre in Minnesota. Was a throw-in for the Davis-Szserbiak trade and has found a way to barely make the cut for the Boston roster this last pre-season.
Robert Traylor - Will forever be known as the man who was traded on draft night for Dirk Nowitzki. Selected #6 byDallas and traded to Milwaukee. After stints in Milwaukee, Cleveland, Charlotte-New Orleans, and back in Cleveland, became too FAT to play!
Keon Clark - Selected #13 by Orlando but traded to Denver. Journeyman with Denver, Toronto, and Sacramento. Struck a FA contract with Utah and played 2 games due to ankle problems that forced retirement.
Jerome Moiso - Selected #11 by Boston. Never did much in Boston, Charlotte-NO, Toronto, New Jersey, and Cleveland. Didn't he just get arrested for something?
Lorenzen Wright - Selected #7 by Clippers. Has had a long career as a mediocre big man in LA, Atlanta, Memphis, and now back in Atlanta. He's recently been suspended....
Samaki Walker - Selected #9 by Dallas. Still playing in the NBA at the end of the Indiana bench. Stunk in Dallas, then San An, got a championship in LAL, and then stints in Miami and Wash.
Todd Fuller - Selected #11 by Golden State. Pretty much stunk in GS, Utah, Charlotte, and Miami.
Shawn Respert - Sharp shooter from Michigan State. Selected #8 by Milwaukee. Career was taked off the tracks by a severe heart condition. Traded from Milwaukee to Toronto to Dallas. Tried a comeback with Pho in 99 before condition forced early retirement.
Ed O'Bannon - UCLA product, Selected #9 by New Jersey. Lasted 2 seasons with NJ and Dallas, HUGE BUST.
Gary Trent - Selected #11 by Milwaukee. Had a productive 10 year career in Portland, Dallas (especially), and Minnesota before retiring in 2004.
Sharone Wright - Selected #6 by Philly. Lasted 3 seasons and change in Philly and Toronto before chronic back forced early retirement.
Eric Montross - Selected #9 by Boston. Lasted 7 years despite being really BAD. Journeyed from Boston to Dallas, NJ, Phi, Det, and Toronto.
Carlos Rogers - Selected #10 by my beloved Seattle at the time then traded to GS on draft night. Played in GS, Toronto, Portland, Houston, and finally Indiana. Most productive in Toronto.
Todd Day- Selected #8 by Milwaukee. Talented (if not efficient) scorer his first 5 years in the league and then fell off sharply. Played in Mil, Bos, Mia, Pho, and Min.
Doug Smith - Selected #9 by Dallas. Our beloved Missouri product...NOT! Lasted 5 mediocre seasons. 4 with Dallas, 1 with Boston. After second year, it was all down hill year after miserable year.
Mark Macon - Selected #8 by Denver. Extremely injury-prone...made Marcus Camby look like an Iron Man. Lasted 5 injury filled seasons. Tried a comeback in 99 after 3 year hiatus, lasted 7 games. Played with Den and Det.
Bo Kimble - Selected #8 by Clippers. Lasted 3 miserable seasons. Then again was he expected to do ANYTHING out of Loyola-Marymount??
Pervis Ellison - 1st round, 1st pick by Sacramento (JoMaL what did you think at the time?) Was injured for Sacramento his lone first year there. Went to Washington the next year and won MIP his third year with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Down to 17 and 9 the next year and then off the cliff. Also played in Boston and his last year in Seattle.
Stacey King - Selected #6 by Chicago. Won 3 championships in his first 4 years, of course he didn't have anything to do with any of them. Traded to Minny for Longley where he did nothing. Had stints in Mia, Bos, and Dal before retiring.
George McCloud - Selected #7 by Indiana. Hung around the league for 12 years as a 3 point specialist. Played in Indy, Dal, LAL, Pho, and Denver.
Randy White - Selected #8 by Dallas. Lasted 5 miserable seasons in Dallas. This guy I never heard of!
Dennis Hopson - Selected #3 by New Jersey. Showed flair for scoring in New Jersey then was dealt to Chicago where he stunk, traded mid-season his last year to Sacramento and then retired. Lasted 5 seasons.
Kenny Walker - Selected #5 by New York. Lasted 5 seasons with NY and his last 2 with Washington. Started off mediocre and only got worst each year thereafter. I do here that he thrilled in the slam dunk competition, though....
Well WayOutWest.............you ASKED!!!
