Happy Birthday Dan.
A third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

What do you mean, you don't celebrate birthdays!?

Life is tough enough,  you should at least give yourself credit for surviving in this insane, hostile world for another year!

I don't celebrate for religous reasons Rick. But you are 100% correct, this IS an insane, hostile world, to paraphrase Peggy Noonan, not only have the wheels come off the trolley, the trolley is off the tracks.

First Dan, I must apologize for misspelling the word (I know, I know any cool points I earned...down the drain!). :)   The correct spelling and definition:

gallimaufry - a jumble, a hodgepodge

VINDICATION! I actually found that on a similar word search but you so completely butchered the spelling I wasn't sure it could even remotely be the same word.

Deduct a couple of cool points but the word all by itself is so cool it almost negates that, can't wait to use it with my friends.

gal·li·mau·fry [ gàlli máwffree ] (plural gal·li·mau·fries)

noun

Definitions:

hodgepodge: a jumble of various things or people

[Mid-16th century. < French galimafrée]
