Back to the threads point, if Fabs can give Dunkar and the rotation some rest, that is FABulous.

Contributing towards Finals wins is better then having a few more meaningless stats on a non playoff .500 team.
Exactly what I said WayBackWhen.  Flabs is a nothing stiff ala Rasho.  Kwame will have a better year than Flabs.

However, you fail to mention that:  Kobe has scored 48, 50, and 45 points in the past three games and has averaged 49% in doing so.
Kobe actually made history.  Only one other player has had as many or more consequtive 45+ scoring games as Kobe.

Trivia alert!

Elgin Baylor did it too ... in 1961.  Wilt in 1964 and Kobe in 2006.  Not bad company to be in ...

Nope, only Wilt.

Elgin, Jordan and Kareem missed the exclusive club.

Technically, Yoda-speak for this particular sentence would be "This feat, Chamberlain, did accomplish."

No, but Yoda does see the future.

Bench for an eternity will Flabo languish. Flabo, statwise better than, is the Kwame.

koast & WOW....I don't know how much of your comments were directed at me but I will respond.  Don't get lost in a Randy-esque interpretation....actually read and comprehend.

I admitted Finley plays solid defense.  However he was on a TEAM that played horrible defense and that team reputation was attached to him as well.  Finley is probably the best pure outside shooter on the Spurs right now.  He will see plenty of minutes....at both SG & SF.  However he will not replace Bowen in the starting lineup.  Bowen can (and does) defend the top perimeter defender on the opposing team regardless of wether they play the 2 or 3 spot.  Finley as the starter at the 2 defends the other position.  Manu usually substitutes for Finley then after a rest Finley comes in for Bowen.  Between the 96 available minutes at the 2 & 3 spots Bowen, Finley and Manu will each get around 30 by the time the playoffs roll around.

Spurs minutes when the playoffs start:

C: Rasho  18-20,  Nazr 16-18,  Duncan 10-12
PF: Duncan 30-33,  Horry 15-18
SF: Bowen 33-35,  Finley 13-15
SG: Finley 16-18,  Manu 30-32
PG: Parker 38-40,  Van Exel  8-10

Reality check:  NO FABS
My only comment directed towards you was the one where I made the sarcastic comment that I 'made up' the notion that Dallas was a horrible defensive team.

Reality, cut it out.  You are so obsessed with wanting to be the 'I told you so' basketball guru that you are looking real sad with some of these comments.  No matter how hard you pray at night Fabs is not going to make an impact like you want this season.

Fabs is not the following:

The key to the Spurs grabbing the title
The best choice off the bench for Tim Duncan

Twister,

It doesnt matter if the Spurs win the title and Fabs contributes.  The important thing is that Kwame has better stats for the .500 Lakers.

WOW and Laker Nation.

Ok, there, you told me so.

Miguel does Yoda:

Caleb does Yoda:

Quote

You know Caleb I know you to be a Star Wars FAN-atic, but I think I like Miguel's Yoda syntax better......touche.

Wrong again.

What matters is that Flabo will be a nothing stiff ala Rasho just like I said.

Kwame having a better year than Flabo is just icing on the cake, beer flavored icing none the less.

Just thought it would be worth showing you that YOU were the one who did this you "your" thread.  Note that YOU were the FIRST poster to beginning ranting (yet again) about Kobe and/or the Lakers -- just thought you would find it interesting to see that YOU posting MORE rants about the Lakers than YOU posted about TD and his foot!

This past month has brought more joy then imaginable. No i don't celebrate the Saturnalia, but rather some of the most momentous, incredible breakthrus since i have been perfoming Lakerism Deprograming Therapy.

1st Laker Fan Dan sees a Kobe game ending foul vs Utah to be the bogus call it was.
Next, westkoast and Randy see Kobes elbow thru the eyes and light of truth.

Let the Laker posters worry about the stats in the regular season.

Having Kobe shoot 40-45 times could bring him the reg season scoring title.

Meanwhile in Orange County, CA, we have just learned that police have been called to the residence of Kobe Bryant. Bryant is alleged to be breaking furniture and throwing a temper tantrum. Bryant asked David Stern to deduct points and thus change the scoring title won fairly by Allen Iverson. Bryant is said to have threatened Stern that if he didn't rig things "just like the good old days." that he would show the tapes of himself and Stern.

Yep, the Laker fans on here sure start a lot of threads about the Lakers and Kobe, huh?  There would be 60% less about the Lakers on this board if YOU didn't initiate it!

You would be a lot more funny if you weren't so pathetic!
