Employee pre screening

Have any of you either as an employer or as a potential employee, been subjected to these know it all testing companies that are going to *predetermine* if your employees or you the would-be-employee would be successful or not.

One of their questions, and I quote:
"As a child, i was disciplined for doing bad schoolwork"
a often
b once or twice
c six or 7 times
d can't remember

Believe me this is only one of many.
This is so undignified and none of their business.  I don't buy this crap one iota, and i told the salesperson to take his $11,500 selling price to where the sun doesnt shine.

I could go on to more and more.  Read their bull disclaimer on the "what we are, what we do section."  See what they allege to NOT do. :rofl:  :puke:

zig i know you are into data analysis, I am to sort of.  I want to get the inside goodies on these people.

As thought these types of questions would teach you anything about the employee!  I would bet it's a complete waste of money.

You want to see how good an employee is?  Ask him to stay late to help out with an emergency situation and see if he does.  That will tell you how committed he is to the company.
