Not going until next tuesday.  Let the crazy people have a few days of dressing up and packing the theaters.

After the crowds die down.  Who wants to be the first to see it?  Who cares?  Once I don't have to wait in line for half an hour to get the ticket, when I don't have to fight to find a couple of seats together in the theater, that's when I'll go.

Agreed, I will wait until the chaos dies down a little bit.  We all know how the film ends anyway so it's not like we have to worry about overhearing someone revealing the ending.

Haha, I'll never forget the story of my father telling me how, as he was leaving Empire Strikes Back, a guy yelled out "I can't believe Darth Vader is Luke's Father!", right as they were walking past the line waiting to get in :)

Amazingly, the guy didn't get killed.

Not for 2 weeks at least...I love star wars but waiting in traffic to go wait in a line to buy a ticket to go wait in line to be seated is not my idea of fun.

Why is everyone worried about the lines.  Take off from work early Thurs or Fri and you're set.  I'm going Friday if I can get off work by 3, otherwise I'll catch the first showings on Sat, should be empty all over L.A.  Town doesn't get up until 10 a.m. on weekends.

i might go see it tonight, not sure.  I hate trying to plan a group event because people are like "lets all go together" and then it becomes phone tag with everyone, so i may just go check it out tonight.  plenty of tickets online for theatres around town - WAY better than standing in line somewhere.  from what i have seen on the net, it is way better than "empire."  Cant wait.
On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

Great thanks for ruining the movie for me.  Next you are gonna tell me Natalie Portman gave birth to Mark Hamil.

Closest one is in Austin.
None in the SA area at present, unless its for an underground dlp movement.
I'd complain to the SAS Movie Theater Association.

Big Spring, TX has one. B)
Plano also.
