Thank you Patrick Ramsey.   Who was he throwing that to?  Three Eagle dbs in the immediate vicinity.

Eagles, what are you going to do with that reciever who quit on the pass?  Wow.
Talk about McNabb not having a full shelf to work with in times past.
I did see the recver come back and catch a sideline pass the next series.

Michael Vick came back yesterday after last weeks completely lopsided McNabb 1-Vick 0 outing.

Mike Tice looks like he is gonna bail.  MN misses playoffs again I am sure he is out.
He is the lowest paid coach in the NFL.  I dont think the Moss pass attempt was a bad idea, I just think Moss forgot to throw it away upon seeing the endzone reciever was smothered.

How 'bout those Chargers?  They got a ton of help from Tampa Bay.  Penalty on a made TB field goal only to have the kicker subsequently miss on the 2nd try.
Griese had a weird game, 400 yds and 3tds but also 3 costly INTs.

Eliminate those Cheatin Denver Donkeys.

The Moss pass was a TERRIBLE idea.  For crying out loud you have a quarterback with a %70 completion rate and the ability to run himself, plus solid running backs facing a team  decimated with injuries in the front four and linebacker, and you have a RECEIVER throw the ball at a secondary that leads the league in picks?!?! :nonono:  :nonono:  :nonono:

Yes Moss should have thrown it away or just tucked up and run, but as Chris Collinsworth pointed out, when you have a back or receiver in that position they almost always try and make the play.

I laugh when Tice and announcer Aikman try and explain it as being the right play because "you have the ball in your best players hands."   Please.  If it had been a field goal would the same rule apply?  "Okay if we make this 40 yarder we win.  Morten, sit down.  Randy's our best players so he'll kick it."

P.S.  As you can tell I'm enraged by the call.

LOL.  Great analogy.

And Reality, weren't you the one who said McNabb had such a good supporting cast of weapons last year?  Did you just SEE pinkston last night?  My lord.  He was worse in the NFC Championship game last year against Carolina.

Couldn't belive how lousy the Eagles looked yesterday.  Not just Pinkston bailing on that first bomb, but Owens fumble that cost the team a score.

MaNabb looked terrible yesterday, way too many balls thrown too high or too low for the recievers.  The pass Pinkston bailed on was thrown too short, there was no reason for Mcnabb not to have thrown that one farther so Pinkston couldn't catch it in stride, like the one he caught later in the game.  The interception he threw was also a bad one, and why he held onto the ball for so long without moving in the pocket on that sack, I'll never know.

The offense could have lost the game for the Birds, since they couldn't hold on to the ball and give the defense rest.  As for the interception Ramsey through, I have to believe that was a corner route and the Washinton recievers are a bunch of chikenshits who can't run a route.  There wasn't a Washinton reciver within 4 yards of that pass, and two Eagles d'backs got their hands on it.

Tice is a complete idiot for having Moss throw that pass, and Moss is a moron for throwing it.  Moss is a great receiver, and Daunte Cullpeper one of the better Qb's.  Why would you rely on a gimmick play, instead of thowing it downfield to you all-pro receiver?  Too stupid to imagine!

Against a good team, the Eagles would have lost yesterday.  As it was they left 14 pts off the board= the Owens turnover and the kneel-down at the end of the game.  I suppose if you're going to have a bad game you may as well have it against a bad team, with an over-the-hill coach who can't preserve his timeouts, or get plays into his Qb on time.  But if the Birds play like that in the playoffs, the fans will be screaming for Reid's head.

NFC Playoff sweep hardly a lock for Eagles.

They were due for a letdown.  12-1, division clinched.  Overemphasising pursuing home field thruout can be detrimental.  If they, make that when they lock down a bye that will work.   New England, for all its solid play, had 3 OT or otherwise reg season squeakers last year to nail down homefield.
