Spurs fans, is this correct?

the Spurs are no longer pursuing Luis Scaila (sp?) and Robert Horry?  Are they going to bring Willis back?  This would appear to be a decision to stick go with Rose as a back-up PF -- which would be quite surprising after the drama that took place between he and Pop last year.

All the Spurs can offer is the veteran's minimum.  Because they were under the salary cap they don't get a midlevel exemption (same is true about every team under the cap).

Luis Scola has too large of a buy out with his Euro team.

Horry, based on rumors, is entertaining an offer from Miami to rejoin Shaq.

Spurs are still in touch with Malone but again will let him see if anything better than vet minimum is available.

Spurs will bring in some other bodies but at this point need to wait and see who is available for the minimum.  Also Pop will continue to shop Malik.
It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.  Keep on thinking free.

So Malone is all about a title?
I thought it's strictly a health issue.

Talk about a screw up with tons of cash re Nestro and Malik.
