Is this a good trade for Seattle?

Portland trades:  
PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (16.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.0 apg in 31.6 minutes)  
SG Derek Anderson (13.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 4.5 apg in 35.5 minutes)  

Portland receives:  
SG Ray Allen (23.0 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 4.8 apg in 38.4 minutes)  
C Calvin Booth (4.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.4 apg in 17.0 minutes)  
Change in team outlook: -2.0 ppg, -2.1 rpg, and -1.3 apg.

Seattle trades:
SG Ray Allen (23.0 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 4.8 apg in 38.4 minutes)  
C Calvin Booth (4.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 0.4 apg in 17.0 minutes)  

Seattle receives:
PF Shareef Abdur-Rahim (16.3 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 2.0 apg in 85 games)

I would say no it is not good for Seattle.  Shareef does best when he is not the focal point of the offense...and in this trade he would become Seattle's top threat.  And Anderson is a decent player when he plays.  Unfortunately he spends as much time injured as he does healthy.

However if Ray Allen continues to push for a trade then Seattle would have to look seriously at this deal.  But I would think that they could make a trade with the Bulls that would make as much sense and send Allen out of their division.

Seattle needs help up front in the worst way.  While I'm more comfortable with Abdur-Rahim at the 3, he'd be a better 4 than anyone else Seattle has, and Seattle already has a 3.

Anderson is a reasonably talented 2, and Seattle has plenty of backcourt depth.

If I'm Seattle, I'd do this deal, although I'd probably ask for a future draft pick, as well, since Allen is the best talent in the deal.
