A third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority. A second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority. A first-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking.

A quotation is a handy thing to have about, saving one the trouble of thinking for oneself.

Well....kudos to Kahn for cutting the dead wood but there's still a lot to be proved in terms of whether the new guys can come in develop cohesion. Adelman is good enough to get people on the same page IF Rubio is healthy.  If he's not, and we're relying on Barea, etc., then it's a lot tougher.

Hmmm... I guess I could show Luke Ridnour a little more respect than referring to him as "etc", but my point still holds.  A healthy Rubio is the key to getting the most out of the new guys and getting them to play together.

I am a big Kevin Love fan, have been since he was in HS.  I always thought he was going to be really good.  I think the addition of AK47 is a really solid move for them.  We shall see with Brandon Roy, his last year and a half in Portland was really difficult.  Brought over two very fascinating Euro's

Bojan Bogdanovic I think will really surprise a lot of people.  Take away his high turnover rate and he was a stud in Europe.  High effective and true shooting %, high point per minute rate, good scorer, and he did that without requiring a lot of touches.  He is definitely a long range shooter.  He will play this year.

Alexey Shved looks like he can play, but I think he may be afflicted with a bit of Rudy Fernandez syndrome, and may struggle with the pounding in the NBA.  Looks like he is a good athlete, but he is very slightly built.  Excellent deep shooter, but overall not as efficient as Bogdanovic.  Adelman is such a better coach than Nate, so I suspect he will get more out of Shved than Nate ever got out of Rudy.

Tanguy Ngombo was actually a Blazer draft pick for the TWolves.  Color me as unimpressed, great name though!

25 pts, 7 ast, 5 rbs in Bronze game against Argentina.

That gold medal game was very good, would have been interesting if Rubio had been able to play.

Thanks for the info zig.   It was a strange Olympics for me.  I watched more than I have since, oh...the Atlanta Games and yet I did not see a single second of the men's basketball.
