I'd have to go with Dr J.  He was the guy who got me interested in the NBA in the first place.

My favorite Wolf is a strange one.  Doug West.  He was a rare (sometimes lone) bright spot on the horrible early squads and he was not treated well by the organization on a number of occasions.  In spite of that he went out and played hard.

Maybe in a few years I'll switch to KG after my annoyance with him winning a championship elsewhere fades but for now he is actually tied for 3rd with Tom Gugliotta behind West and Sam Mitchell.

Least favorite?   Hmmm.... let's call it tie a between Kevin Willis for punching sucker punching Mitchell in the back of the head and JR Rider for any of a number of things.

I would have to say that, as of right now - Derrick Rose is my favorite! I feel that he's the best point guard in the NBA!

LOL you caught that one like a Gred Maddux fast ball.

I can't quite call Derrick Rose the best point guard in the league, I think that belongs to Chris Paul, but we will see after this season.  He is also one of my new favorite players to watch.

Both Chris Paul and Derrick Rose are awesome pg's....  Derrick Rose has really improved and it's awesome to see that transformation!

I agree.  I've been a fan of Rose's since he first got into the league and have been paying close attention to career.  He definitely is one of my favorite players to watch and it's awesome to see the growth.

I think "League's Best Point Guard" title is currently up for grabs.  I can't say for sure that it's been taken away from the last generation's point guards yet.

I can make strong arguments for Kidd, Nash, Billups, Parker, Deron Williams, Paul, and Rose.  I can make believable arguments for Rondo and Arenas.

Perhaps we're witnessing the NBA's Golden Age of Point Guards, much like we did with big men in the 80's.

I am curious to see how Deron adapts to having to take on more of a scoring role now that the 20/10 poster player  is gone.  I am sure he will have no problem adjusting.  Chris Paul and Derrick Rose (prior, hes in a similar spot as Deron now) didn't really have a quality post player so they had more free range to show off their skills.

Couldn't disagree more, 'koast.  Having the post player is what really gives you the chance to show off all your skills.  And I also don't think that Williams' role changes that much.  It's more of a Millsapp-subbing-for-Boozer thing.  And it's not like Boozer has been in the line-up without fail.  I think, if anything, Williams will have to adjust more to the loss of Okur and his stretch-the-floor shooting.

We will have to agree to disagree then.  I think Boozer's back to the basket game kept Deron's raw offensive talent down a bit compared to Derrick Rose or Chris Paul.   They get to free lance a bit more and are expected to shoot more.  They get to be a bit more creative due to the systems they play in and how they are asked to come out of the system if the mood strikes them.   It definitely is the right way to play basketball and he is doing exactly what his coaches ask but Deron has the talent to really wow the crowd on the offensive end night in and night out.  I wouldn't be surprised to see his stats jump even higher than the great numbers he already puts up now.

Chris Paul was showing off his skills well with an average post player in Tyson Chandler.

Favorite of all Time?

Shawn Kemp --> For the simple reason, no one was more exciting to watch, PERIOD.
(I also grew quite a healthy appreciation for John Stockton when my passion for Seattle began to wane)

Least Favorite of all time?

Michael Jordan --> Never liked him or his team and had to watch him win every year.  (Yeah, Ted, the 90s SUCKED on the other side)

Oh, come on now....you did get the Rockets and Hakeem.

But I can and will testify to how much you hated Jordan.  When he first went to the Finals, you cheered for the Lakers!  (I, of course, cheered for the Bulls in that series.  As much as the 90's sucked, the 80's were almost as bad, due to the Lakers being the Western team pretty much every year, and every weekend for the CBS/NBC broadcasts.)
