Let the LA/SA smack talk begin!
« on: May 01, 2004, 03:10:14 PM »
When asked by a reporter in Los Angeles about why the Lakers would be flying back to Los Angeles between Games 1 and 2 of their series against the Spurs, Phil Jackson responded, "I don't think I have to explain that. You've been to San Antonio. Once you've been there, you've been there enough."

"History shouldn't be a mystery"
"Our story is real history"
"Not his story"

"My people's culture was strong, it was pure"
"And if not for that white greed"
"It would've endured"

"Laker hate causes blindness"

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out -- look at what has happened in the past couple years in the playoffs -- in SacTown you have to be careful of the food -- in SA you have to endure those middle of the night "fire drills."  Some teams figure they need to do a little "extra" to get the edge -- PJ figures it's easier to fly back and forth than for the team to not get any sleep because of those routine early morning fire drills that I guess are a part of life in SA.
