I was happy to see the Carrie Prejean shots, only because it was topical.  It's off topic for here, but I loved how some of the pagent big wigs tried to get her into trouble.  I was very impressed with her character and willingness to stick to her guns against the "It's ok to be queer crowd."  What these fools didn't realize is that the more they showed criticism of her along with her picture, the better she looked to everyone else. Because Dabods enabled this community it gives us a chance to discuss other topics rather than B-ball. I get lazy and post them here, bit I should and shall restrict these posts to the place Dabods set up for them to be.

In general, I don't care if the pics banned, but I think your advance warning is adequate.  Some of your posts give me a good, unexpected laugh and I hope to see more of them in the future. For those who don't have a sense of humor to tell you not to post is more offensive to me than your posting them.  Along the lines of "if thine own eyes offend thee..."  Just take it easy with the close-ups of the cheerleaders. This is a basketball site after all.

Wow, I had to read through all that to find out why we have an ignore feature.  Not that I'm ever going to use it on anyone, feels like making the whole experience of the board a little more sterile. 

As for the pics.  No they don't offend me; neither the gone fishin' or the cheerleaders.  The women pictures are as racy as this board should get and even the pics posted would be inappropriate for MOST workplaces.  I stick up for you quite a bit Reality, but you have to admit to that fact.  Luckily I haven't had to post from work since last October.

If it bothers any poster around here to the point of leaving or starts to distract too much from the basketball discussion, then it should stop.  As usual, I'm stunned the subject garnered this much attention, though.

I'm glad we have the feature now because maybe it will keep some posters from leaving.  There are too few posters on here already, I hope the Ignore feature will bring some back.

Agreed, those pictures are not offensive to me at all BUT would I feel comfortable viewing those pictures in front of my co-workers or kids?  ABSOLUTELY NOT!  I think that's where Dan is comming from, he mentioned the kid thing before.  I don't think cursing is as bad but I do try to keep it in line because of Dan, I'm not worried about it as much as pic because someone would have to read what I wrote to see curse words but they would only have to glance at mey screen to know that there is an inappropriate pic on the screen.  You have to be an idiot not to understand that or an attention whore to not acknowledge that point (another reason why I'm glad we have the Ignore feature).

I think the whole point of the discussion is just to bother people and get attention, maybe even get people to leave.  So the Ignore feature solves more than one of those problems.

You're the one that wanted to hear from the board, you're the one who indicated you would comply with the board's wishes, and now you call me out for pointing out the MAJORITY here don't want the pics posted? Good Grief! There is no understanding your circular logic or your abject blindness to the opinion of most posters here.
