done.

Joe, you're up.

boy, this selection process has sure been valuable, eh?  Everyone complains that by the good teams picking in the later parts of the round, and thus getting 2 quality players instead of one good one bad, it widens the gap.  Then, when push comes to shove, when given the choice everyone picks the front of the draft anyway :P

I have to admit that I am surprised that no one but BBF deviated  .  IMHO BBF was very wise.

Ziggy: yeah, so am I.

I think had I gotten one of the top 3 picks I would have, and gave serious consideration to moving down even further.  With KG and Kidd, there's no reason to take the first player then wait 24 picks to pick another.  Especially when, looking at who might be available, I'm not sure who I'd pick to begin with.

But at 6.....I can live with that.  Never being more than 12 picks away from my next pick gives me an opportunity to more accordingly plan, plus at least this way if there is someone I decide to set my sights on, I can realistically target him.

I will take pick 12.

I would have taken #1 had I gotten it, but not getting it, I wanted 12, and commented on that to Caleb and Skander.  The reason?  The two picks in a row give me more time to enjoy what's going on - as well as taunt those whose picks I don't agree with.

Also, I'm not drafting directly after DaBods makes a pick again.  I don't care what they say about you, Dabods - you're not a nice guy!  You take people I want.

Oooh, a deviant.  Yeah, slot 12 was encouraging for me as well.  The certainty is definitely nice, you don't have to try to guess if someone will be there 12 picks down the line.  Leads to less reaches on your part (because you're afraid of losing the player).

Alright Ziggy, you're up.

(ps: who did I steal from you last year?)

I have been thinking about this too much.  First year I drafted #10, last year I was #10, I got the 10th slot in the lottery.  Which should I choose #9, #10, and #11?  Does it really matter?  For each advantage there is a disadvantage.  So to heck with it give me #10.

Great.  looks like we're done.  (or should we wait for Skaner to chose the one remaining position and make it official?  :P )
