I'm waiting for The Soloist.  Hope it does not disappoint.

Monsters vs Aliens:  The paid off critics are bashing it.  Anyone seen it yet?

Sugar A pitcher from the Dominican Republic struggles to make it to the big leagues and pull himself and his family out of poverty.
This sounds like a JoeV movie.  You Missourians see this yet?

Taken:  I've heard its pretty good, i dunno I'm not into overdone shoot em up.

Duplicity  "just stupid" is how a reliable source put it.

I liked Monsters vs Aliens, there were some funny lines for the adults that most people missed.  Not as good as Coroline or Bolt but decent.

Keep an eye out for "9".

Monsters vs Aliens 3d was good, I really liked the 3d on this one, the story was ok, it kept me entertained and the kids really enjoyed it.

^^ agree, but would say the 3D was FANTASTIC.
Were you able to see it in a digital theater?  I dont think San Antone has one yet or do they?

If possible, see in a DLP theater.  Wowsers!

Yes, we have digital theatres.  I watched it in digital.  ::)

And a place to park the horses too?  Wow!

Has there been anything prior 3D which the graphics were this good.
Where the characters reached out it was like their hand came right into the audience.  Also when things were thrown toward the audience, its like it came right up to your seat.  And i was not on mushrooms.

After seeing Coraline I was curious to see anohter 3D movie.  Luckily for me a local theater ran a 3D festival a couple weeks later.  I went to see Vincent Price in House of Wax.  Most of the 3D wasn't that spectacular but there was one scene with a guy hitting a paddle ball that was very effective. The ball and the rubber string seemed to fly right out over the audience.   

I was not on mushrooms either, though this theater is owned by the Tex Mex joint next door so I was able to enjoy a couple Negro Modelos while I watched.
