The point is that none of the Sixers are "dead-eye" shooters. Players that are not only willing, but likely to make three pointer after three pointer. Barkley would shoot a lot of threes and miss, so would Antoine Walker. I'm not talking about those types. I'm talking about Reggie Miller, Ray Allen, Larry Bird, those types. The Sixers don't have one on their team. I'm not sure if "dead-eye' shooters can be made either. Players can improve their shot through work, but players like Miller and Bird were great shooters when they entered the league.
For a little while it looked like Speights might have that kind of touch, but he's missed too many outside shots since to think that.
