Sixers vs. Suns 11/9
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:27:21 PM »
The Suns have been on a real tear since the start of the season, losing only once and leading their division. The last time the two teams met, in Monterey, Mexico, the Sixers creamed the Suns, during the preseason.

The Sixers match up well against the Suns and need a victory after losing to Detroit. Phila. plays four games in six days including this one against the Suns. Next they play the the Nets, the Jazz and Chicago. At 3-3, the Sixers are still trying to find themselves and Eddie Jordan is trying to figure them out. It would help him if Brand and Young were playing the way they're capable of.

I thought they would be a bit better at this point, since Speights and Smith have both shown the ability to play in this league, and Lou has played like a top 10 point guard. Young and Brand need to pick up their play and Iguodala needs to pick up the slack when others are under-performing. Speights and Smith may need to play more than 30 min. for the Sixers to win consistently.

These refs should be reprimanded.  Absolutely horrible performance tonight.

The Suns did seem to get a lot of calls didn't they?  Does Eddie ever get up and say anything?

We'll continue to embarrass as long as EJ refuses to acknowledge the gaping hole in our perimeter defense.

Like Ayers and O'brien and Cheeks and DiLeo before him?

See, you guys are complaining about something that requires the players to execute.  How about complaining about something like, I don't know, the fact that we're on like our 5th coach since 2003 and Willie Green is still playing 15 minutes a game?
