Until this past Sunday, I thought the Giants were the best team in football. But the Eagles so thoroughly dominated them on both sides of the ball, that the Giants can't be the best team in the NFL anymore.
As things stand now, the Eagles hopes for the playoffs are very thin. It appears that they will have to win all their remaining games, and finish at 11-1-5, and even then, hope that one of the wild card teams ahead of them falters.
There is no doubt that they deserve to be in this situation. Playoff teams manage to beat the Bengals. Frankly, Donovan looked so bad that I thought the Eagles season was over.
On Sunday thought, the Eagles looked very good, and McNabb even great on a windy day when Ely Manning couldn't even throw a pass.
The Eagles better do something, cause the Sixers have a long way to go before I'll feel good about them.
