Bad omen for the Spurs?
« on: May 21, 2008, 11:42:05 AM »
"San Antonio uses the charter company Champion Air, which has announced it is ceasing all operations at the end of May."

I hope the Spurs cease operations at the end of May as well.

Kidding aside, is there a possibility the Spurs were put in any danger flying with a company that had one foot in the grave?  Maintenance is one of the first things that suffer when an air line is falling on hard times.

They have used this charter for years I believe, I think this is the same company that jacked up Chuck Person's back when HIS SEAT CAME LOOSE during take off.  I don't think our guys have had much luck with their charter.
On the set of Walker Texas Ranger Chuck Norris brought a dying lamb back to life by nuzzling it with his beard. As the onlookers gathered, the lamb sprang to life. Chuck Norris then roundhouse kicked it, killing it instantly. The lesson? The good Chuck giveth, and the good Chuck, he taketh away.

To be fair that is the same company that the Lakers have used as well.

The difference is the Lakers have already found another company to go with in anticipation of beating the Spurs!
