I actually enjoyed Speed Racer more than Iron Man. They did not try to do anything different/dark about the original Speed Racer. Pretty close to the cheeky original, I thought it was terrific. Very fun and entertaining movie, awesome visual effects. Can't remember what movie it resembled as far as visuals, maybe the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or a color version of Sin City.
